Last week we:
- finished social studies Topic 7 - Who Provides Services in a Community? and took the assessment.
- began Topic 8 - How Can I Be a Good Shopper?
- read a story called Good Bye Curtis. Please ask your student to retell this story.
- wrote drafts with ourselves as the topic.
- continued with Topic 10: Fractions, Probability, and Time. We learned how measure to the 1/2 inch.
- practiced being social detectives.
- participated in the walk-a-thon
- watched the Battle of the Books.
This week we'll:
- read and take an assessment over a story called Anthony Reynoso, Born to Rope. This story is about a talented boy who performs rope tricks with his dad.
- celebrate Cinco de Mayo
- continue social studies Unit 8 - How Can I Be a Good Shopper?
- practice subtraction math facts with a music cd.
- continue Topic 10: Fractions, Probability, and Time. We'll work on probability.
