We started reading groups last week. You would never have believed your students hadn't done this before. They handled the change and the transition from reading group to Daily 5 like pros!
This week we won't have a regular story. We'll do some fun Thanksgiving reader's theater along with our regular reading groups and Daily 5.
Last week in math, we began Topic 5: Adding and Subtracting Two-Digit Numbers. This week, we'll do at least one lesson.
This week we'll do one writing assignment as well, We'll write to the Mrs. Heinz, the Nature Vision presenter. Last week she taught the class about fossils. How did your student's shell fossil turn out?
Thanks to the PTSA for the fun popcorn party! Our mis-matched sock day was a hit as well!
